Lazy Rock – Privacy Policy
Effective: 7 October 2026 · Magyar változat
In short
Lazy Rock (LustaKő in Hungarian) is a playful app that compares your daily step count with a rock's. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics. Your step data never leaves your phone.

What data the app uses
Step count. With your permission, the app reads your daily step count from Apple Health (HealthKit) on iPhone and from Health Connect on Android. It only reads, never writes, and only asks for steps. The data is processed solely on your phone (rank, rockness, weekly stats, notification texts) and is never sent anywhere: not to us, not to any third party. Health data is never used for advertising and never sold.
App data. Your rock's name, your settings, up to the last 90 days of daily step counts and a log of notification texts already sent are stored in the app's own storage on your phone. None of it is transmitted.
Notifications. All notifications are local: your phone schedules them, there is no push server.
Sharing. The weekly card image is only shared when you tap the share button, to a destination you choose.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To keep track of purchases we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA), which handles a random, anonymous identifier and purchase transaction data (which product, when) so your items can be restored on another device or after reinstalling. RevenueCat never receives step data. Details: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Legal basis and retention
Step data is processed based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)), given in your phone's permission dialog and revocable at any time in your phone's settings (iPhone: Health app → Sharing → Apps; Android: Health Connect). Purchase records are processed to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Data stored on your phone is deleted immediately when you delete the app. The app deletes daily history older than 90 days on its own.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, and you may object to processing. Since step data stays on your phone, we have no access to it; you can delete it yourself by deleting the app. For purchase records, write to the email address above. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Hungary: naih.hu).
Children
The app collects no personal data and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its effective date.
